You have a foundational understanding of security principles and are eager to gain exposure to a wide range of security challenges that will accelerate your growth in this field.
Desirable
You have experience or coursework related to security controls and solutions, and you are familiar with the processes of reviewing technical designs. You are comfortable writing code and have a basic understanding of automation tools. Familiarity with AI tools is a plus, as you will be using them to help accelerate your work and strengthen security practices.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be part of a hands-on security team working across Infrastructure, Application, and Enterprise Security. You will contribute to the design and implementation of security controls and solutions, ensuring that security measures are integrated into the development process. You will also participate in tracking and remediation of discovered security vulnerabilities, working closely with other team members to reduce security risks and attack surfaces within our infrastructure and corporate applications. Your responsibilities will include developing assistive automation and workflows to streamline the detection and reporting of security findings. You will have the opportunity to engage with security researchers and penetration testers, responding to their findings and implementing necessary changes to enhance security.
What we offer
Chime offers a competitive base salary starting at $125,640 and going up to $174,500, depending on your experience and qualifications. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus and a competitive equity package, along with comprehensive benefits. You will be part of a supportive team that values mentorship and professional growth, providing you with the resources and guidance needed to advance your career in security engineering.
