You have a strong background in technical program management, with at least 5 years of experience leading complex projects in technology or engineering environments. Your expertise includes managing cross-functional teams and driving project execution from conception through to delivery. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including engineers, product managers, and external partners. You are adept at developing integrated schedules and prioritizing tasks to ensure timely project completion. Your analytical mindset allows you to identify potential risks and implement effective mitigation strategies. You are passionate about satellite technology and its potential to connect the world, and you thrive in high-impact, high-visibility roles.

Desirable

Experience in the aerospace or satellite communications industry is a plus, as is familiarity with ground systems and infrastructure. Knowledge of software and hardware development processes will enhance your ability to manage projects effectively. A background in systems engineering or operations management will also be beneficial in this role.

What you'll do

As the Senior Technical Program Manager for Ground Systems at Astranis, you will lead the execution of all aspects of the Ground program, ensuring that the infrastructure and systems supporting satellite operations are developed and deployed efficiently. You will work closely with engineering teams to drive the development of antenna and hub systems, overseeing their deployment and operation within our global antenna network. Your role will involve creating and maintaining integrated project schedules, coordinating with various teams to align priorities and resources. You will be responsible for tracking project progress, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing solutions to keep projects on track. You will also facilitate regular project meetings, providing updates to stakeholders and ensuring that everyone is aligned on project goals and timelines. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a collaborative environment where team members feel empowered to contribute their ideas and expertise. You will play a key role in shaping the future of satellite communications, contributing to projects that have a significant impact on global connectivity.
