Overview

AvePoint is seeking an HR Generalist to oversee HR and office administration matters. You'll manage recruitment, HR operations, and employee relations in Kuala Lumpur.

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business and possess experience in managing HR functions. You enjoy a hands-on role and are passionate about creating a positive workplace culture. Your strong communication skills enable you to effectively address employee queries and foster relationships within the team. You are detail-oriented and understand the importance of compliance with local labor laws, ensuring that HR policies are well communicated and adhered to.

You thrive in a collaborative environment and are eager to contribute to the growth and development of your colleagues. Your experience in recruitment and talent management allows you to effectively source and onboard new hires, ensuring they feel welcomed and supported from day one. You are proactive in handling HR administration tasks, including maintaining employee records and managing HRIS updates.

What you'll do

In this role, you will take ownership of the full spectrum of HR functions, from recruitment to compliance. You will manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new hires. Your responsibilities will also include handling daily HR operations, such as employee records management, benefits administration, and payroll support. You will serve as a point of contact for employees, addressing their queries and resolving issues to maintain a positive workplace culture.

You will support the implementation and coordination of performance reviews and related processes, ensuring that employees receive constructive feedback and opportunities for growth. Additionally, you will develop, update, and communicate HR policies to ensure compliance and understanding across the team. Managing day-to-day office needs, including ordering supplies and coordinating with vendors, will also be part of your responsibilities. You will provide ad-hoc administrative support as needed to ensure the smooth running of the office.
