Who you are

You have a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and at least 3 years of experience in product design. Your investigative mind is inclined toward developing practical solutions to real-world problems, and you thrive in collaborative environments where you can consult with fabrication teams and advise on design specifications. You possess proficiency with CAD software like SolidWorks and ProE, and knowledge of industrial design is an added advantage.

What you'll do

In this role, you will ensure that designs are feasible and manufacturable, developing and building prototypes while running tests to measure their functionality. You will record and evaluate testing data, altering designs as necessary to meet safety, performance, and efficiency standards. Additionally, you will assist in cost estimate calculations for final product designs and consult with fabrication teams during product manufacturing, advising them on design specifications to ensure successful outcomes.
