Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in cryptography and experience with zero-knowledge proofs — you've implemented cryptographic algorithms and understand the nuances of secure software development. Your engineering design skills are top-notch, allowing you to make pragmatic technology choices that empower your team. You thrive in collaborative environments and can work across the stack, interfacing between low-level computer systems and high-level application frameworks.
You possess a security mindset, always considering the implications of your design choices on system integrity and user privacy. Your experience with compiler frameworks like LLVM and architectures such as RISC-V gives you a unique perspective on optimizing zero-knowledge proof systems. You are excited about working on challenging and impactful problems in a fast-paced environment and are eager to contribute to innovative solutions in the crypto and fintech space.

Your role will involve building systems that interface between low-level computer systems and zero-knowledge proof systems, ensuring efficient and secure operations. You will work closely with your team to optimize ZK provers and implement novel ZK circuits, making design choices that enable rapid development of secure systems.
You will collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure that the systems you build meet the highest standards of security and performance. Your contributions will directly impact the development of ZK-enabled products using OpenVM, a modular zkVM framework designed for customization and extensibility. You will be part of a small but incredibly strong team, working on innovative solutions that push the boundaries of what's possible in the crypto and fintech sectors.
