You have over 5 years of experience in revenue accounting, with a strong understanding of ASC 606 and revenue recognition principles. Your background includes leading teams and collaborating with cross-functional partners to ensure accurate financial reporting. You thrive in environments that require agility and creative problem-solving, and you are passionate about driving process improvements and operational excellence. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders effectively. You are detail-oriented and committed to maintaining high standards of compliance and internal controls. You enjoy mentoring and developing your team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

Desirable

Experience in a technology or software company is a plus, as is familiarity with cloud-based financial systems. You may have a CPA or equivalent certification, which enhances your credibility in the field. A proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issues in revenue accounting processes will set you apart.

What you'll do

As the Senior Manager of Revenue Accounting at Axon, you will lead a team responsible for overseeing complex revenue streams and ensuring compliance with ASC 606. You will collaborate closely with Financial Planning & Analysis, Commercial Controllership, IT, Professional Services, and Sales to provide clarity and support in a fast-paced environment. Your role will involve developing scalable processes and strengthening internal controls to enhance the accuracy of revenue recognition and cost of goods sold. You will drive process improvements and ensure that your team is equipped to handle the challenges of a growing organization. You will also be responsible for mentoring your team members, helping them grow in their careers while maintaining a focus on operational rigor and excellence.
