Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in cloud engineering, particularly with AWS, and have experience designing and managing cloud infrastructure. You understand the importance of security, reliability, and efficiency in cloud systems, and you are passionate about using technology to support critical safety and justice issues. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with cross-functional teams to operationalize data workflows and automate processes.
You have hands-on experience with AWS services such as S3, EC2, Lambda, and Fargate, and you are familiar with best practices in DevOps and cloud-native architecture. Your problem-solving skills allow you to build and maintain data ingestion and processing pipelines that are both reliable and scalable. You are comfortable managing Dockerized workloads and have a keen eye for monitoring and alerting systems to ensure optimal performance.
What you'll do
In this role, you will design, deploy, and manage the AWS infrastructure that supports Axon's drone detection and analytics platform. You will build and maintain data ingestion and processing pipelines, ensuring they are reliable and scalable to meet the needs of the organization. You will set up and monitor notification and alerting systems for data processing and model operations, applying best practices in cloud engineering.
You will collaborate closely with the Decisions and Insights team to operationalize data workflows and automate alerting, ensuring that the systems you build directly support Axon's mission to protect life. Your work will have a meaningful impact on the safety and security of airspace, and you will take ownership of your projects, driving real change within the organization.
