What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will become the expert in your team's business and technical domains, focusing on cloud best practices and site reliability. You will lead the design and implementation of automated, self-service infrastructure that empowers the engineering organization to move fast without sacrificing security or stability. Your role will involve architecting a world-class ecosystem using modern stacks centered on AWS and GCP, ensuring that the foundational platform supports all Oscar engineering efforts.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve infrastructure challenges, ensuring that systems are resilient and scalable. Your responsibilities will include mentoring junior engineers, conducting code reviews, and driving initiatives that improve operational practices. You will also be involved in capacity planning and performance tuning to ensure that Oscar's technology platform meets the demands of its users.
