What you'll do

In this role, you will own key technical areas within Axon's AI product portfolio, focusing on LLMs, MLLMs, and Computer Vision. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy state-of-the-art models and algorithms that address critical safety and justice issues. Your responsibilities will include providing technical leadership to junior scientists, guiding them through the transition of R&D concepts into practical applications.

You will engage in research and development efforts that push the boundaries of what is possible with AI technologies. This includes experimenting with new architectures and methodologies to improve model performance and applicability. You will also be responsible for documenting your work and sharing insights with the broader team, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
