You are comfortable working in cloud environments, particularly with AWS, and have experience deploying applications using Docker.

You are a strong collaborator who enjoys working with cross-functional teams — your ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders makes you an asset in any project. You thrive in environments where you can solve real-world problems, particularly in the cybersecurity domain.

Your problem-solving skills are top-notch, and you have a keen interest in cybersecurity — you understand the challenges faced by security teams and are motivated to develop solutions that address these issues. You are also familiar with best practices in data governance and security, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Desirable

What you'll do

As a Senior/Staff Data Engineer at Balbix, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust data pipelines that support our cybersecurity platform. You will work closely with data scientists and threat researchers to ensure that our data infrastructure meets the needs of our users, including CIOs and CISOs from Fortune 10 companies.

You will tackle challenges related to massive datasets, optimizing data flow and storage solutions to enhance performance and reliability. Your role will involve writing efficient algorithms and conducting thorough testing to ensure the integrity and accuracy of data processing.

Collaboration is key in this role — you will engage with various teams to understand their data needs and provide solutions that empower them to make informed decisions. You will also mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their careers.
