Who you are
You have a strong background in product management with a focus on infrastructure, ideally with 5+ years of experience in managing technical products. You understand the intricacies of large-scale distributed systems and have a proven track record of delivering reliable and scalable solutions. Your technical expertise allows you to bridge the gap between engineering and customer needs, ensuring that the products you manage meet high standards of performance and security.
You are adept at collaborating with engineering teams, having worked closely with developers to define product vision and roadmap. Your experience includes optimizing GPU utilization and managing multi-cloud environments, which are critical for the success of AI products. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
What you'll do
As the Infrastructure Product Manager at Baseten, you will define the product vision and roadmap for our inference, serving, and orchestration infrastructure. You will collaborate with engineering teams to improve the reliability, latency, and cost efficiency of model deployments. Your role will involve managing initiatives such as multi-cloud capacity management and optimizing GPU resources for efficient model serving.
You will be responsible for ensuring that our platform delivers world-class reliability and performance, which is essential for our users who rely on our infrastructure for mission-critical AI applications.
