Job Description
Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly in data engineering, where you've designed and implemented scalable data solutions that support business objectives. Your expertise includes building high-performance ETL data pipelines and storage solutions, ensuring data integrity and accessibility across platforms. You are proficient in programming languages such as Python and Java, and you have a solid understanding of SQL for database management and querying. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful data-driven solutions.
You are familiar with AI technologies and their application in enhancing data processes, enabling smarter decision-making and operational efficiencies. Your experience with cloud platforms and data architecture principles allows you to create robust systems that can handle large volumes of data while maintaining performance and reliability. You are committed to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest trends in data technology and AI, which you leverage to drive innovation within your team.
Desirable
Experience with integrating data solutions into existing HR technology platforms is a plus. Familiarity with tools and technologies such as Apache Spark, Airflow, or similar frameworks will enhance your ability to contribute effectively to our projects. What you'll do
In this role, you will take ownership of the architecture and development of Beamery's data platform, leading the design and implementation of scalable ETL data pipelines. You will collaborate with product managers and other engineers to define requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Your responsibilities will include optimizing data workflows, ensuring data quality, and implementing best practices for data management.
You will also work on deepening integrations with major platforms like SAP, Workday, Microsoft, and LinkedIn, embedding skills intelligence into these systems to enhance workforce decision-making. Your contributions will help shape the future of our data capabilities, enabling our clients to make better and fairer talent decisions.
As a senior member of the team, you will mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to foster their growth and development. You will participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to ensure high-quality code and adherence to best practices. Your role will also involve staying abreast of emerging technologies and trends in data engineering and AI, applying this knowledge to improve our systems and processes.
