What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the Molecular Biology team within the Scientific Modalities group at Benchling. Your primary responsibility will be to recruit and develop a team of exceptional engineers, guiding them in their professional growth and ensuring they have the resources they need to succeed. You will partner closely with product and design teams to define the product roadmap and long-term strategy, ensuring alignment with customer needs and market demands. You will hold your team to a high bar for product quality, overseeing the execution of their work and providing feedback to drive continuous improvement. You will also collaborate with engineers to make informed technical decisions that support the development of powerful tools for scientific workflows. Your leadership will be crucial in helping Benchling unlock the power of biotechnology through modern software solutions.
