Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with a strong background in DFX, process design, and validation. You thrive in hands-on environments and enjoy troubleshooting processes to enhance manufacturing efficiency. Your leadership skills enable you to coach and develop junior engineers while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
You are adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Mechanical, Electrical, Supply Chain, and Quality, ensuring that all aspects of manufacturing are aligned with program goals. Your ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders helps you drive timely execution of NPI deliverables.
Desirable
Experience in leading small teams and managing concurrent NPI programs is a plus. Familiarity with factory operations and a hands-on approach to problem-solving will set you apart in this role.
What you'll do
As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, Tech Lead at WHOOP, you will own the manufacturing technical readiness for two concurrent NPI programs. You will serve as the lead engineer on one program while guiding a small team on the second. Your responsibilities include developing and troubleshooting manufacturing processes, supporting production ramps, and ensuring high quality from prototype builds through to full-scale production.
You will partner closely with various teams, including Mechanical, Electrical, Supply Chain, and Quality, to ensure that all manufacturing processes meet the required standards. Your role will involve coaching and developing your team to deliver consistent and scalable manufacturing results, while also being accountable for the timely execution of NPI deliverables.
