You are proficient in Python and SQL, and you understand the intricacies of data warehousing and ETL processes. Your experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, allows you to design scalable solutions that meet the needs of a growing organization. You are familiar with tools like Airflow for orchestrating data workflows and BigQuery for data analysis, enabling you to handle large datasets efficiently. You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and accessibility.

Desirable

Experience with Docker for containerization and deployment of data applications is a plus. Familiarity with data visualization tools and practices can enhance your contributions to the team. You are open to learning new technologies and methodologies that can improve data processes and outcomes.

What you'll do

As the Lead Data Engineer at Benepass, you will take ownership of the data engineering function, leading the design and implementation of data pipelines that support the company's mission. You will work on building a robust data infrastructure that allows for seamless data integration and transformation. Your role will involve collaborating with product and engineering teams to understand data requirements and ensure that the data architecture aligns with business goals. You will also be responsible for maintaining data quality and implementing best practices for data governance.

You will lead initiatives to optimize data workflows, ensuring that data is processed efficiently and is readily available for analysis. This includes monitoring data pipelines, troubleshooting issues, and implementing solutions to enhance performance. You will have the opportunity to mentor junior data engineers, sharing your expertise and fostering a culture of continuous learning within the team.
