Data Engineer • Lead

Who you are

You have a strong background in data engineering with a commitment to writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code. Your excellent SQL skills enable you to write complex queries, optimize query performance, and design efficient database schemas. You understand object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and best practices, which you apply in your daily work. You are familiar with one or more data platform technologies such as Databricks, Snowflake, and Microsoft Fabric, and you enjoy collaborating with diverse teams to solve complex technology problems.

What you'll do

In this role, you will contribute to the growth of BJSS's Data Engineering practice, potentially leading a dedicated team or taking on principal engineer responsibilities across multiple teams. You will be responsible for building scalable, reusable data solutions that help clients leverage their data for insights and decision-making. Your work will involve engaging with clients to understand their business-critical needs and delivering results that drive business value. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers and help shape the future of the data engineering team.
