Job Description
Who you are
You have 5+ years of backend engineering experience, particularly in building scalable systems that can handle complex integrations and high transaction volumes. Your expertise in Go allows you to develop efficient and maintainable code, and you have a strong understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture.
You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with product management and design teams to define and prioritize the product roadmap. Your problem-solving skills are top-notch, and you enjoy tackling challenges that require innovative solutions. You are also comfortable with integrating third-party products and managing dependencies within the platform.
Desirable
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP is a plus, as is familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools. You have a keen interest in automation and AI technologies, which aligns with Bestow's mission to modernize the life insurance industry.
What you'll do
As a Senior Backend Engineer at Bestow, you will be responsible for designing and implementing backend services that power our life insurance platform.
