What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer at BetterCloud, you will be a key member of the Platform team, responsible for developing and maintaining our Microservices architecture. You will design and implement robust backend services using Java, ensuring they are scalable and efficient. Your role will involve collaborating closely with frontend engineers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic, utilizing React for the frontend development.

You will also work with various database technologies, including MySQL and Elasticsearch, to optimize data storage and retrieval processes. Your contributions will directly impact the performance and reliability of our SaaS operations platform, enabling IT professionals to automate processes and enhance data protection.

In addition to coding, you will participate in code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to architectural discussions. You will be expected to stay updated with industry trends and best practices, continuously seeking ways to improve our technology stack and development processes.
