What you'll do
As the Compliance Manager, you will manage the compliance function at Betterment, ensuring that all marketing practices adhere to SEC and FINRA regulations. You will lead a team of two, guiding them in their compliance responsibilities and fostering a collaborative environment. Your role will involve reviewing marketing materials, developing compliance policies, and conducting training sessions to ensure that all employees understand compliance requirements.
You will work closely with various departments to identify compliance risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Your ability to think outside the box will help you find creative solutions to compliance challenges, making you a key player in Betterment's innovative approach to financial services. You will also be responsible for staying updated on regulatory changes and ensuring that the company adapts its practices accordingly.
What we offer
Betterment offers a competitive salary range of $130,000 - $150,000, along with a comprehensive equity package and health benefits. You will have the opportunity to work in a hybrid model, spending four days a week in the office at Betterment HQ in New York City.
