Who you are
You are an enthusiastic individual who is at least 21 years old and possesses a valid driverβs license with a minimum of two years of driving experience. You are comfortable using smartphone apps while on the move and can lift up to 80 lbs, with or without accommodation. Your team-oriented mindset and strong communication skills make you a valuable addition to any team. Being bilingual is a plus, and you have a familiarity with local streets and neighborhoods that enhances your ability to perform your duties effectively.
What you'll do
As an Operations Specialist at Bird, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our fleet of electric scooters is operational and ready for riders. Your responsibilities will include safely driving, loading, and unloading scooters while following mobile app routes to deploy or retrieve them. You will efficiently relocate scooters from low-demand to high-demand areas, ensuring that our services meet customer needs. Additionally, you will perform basic diagnostics and quality checks on scooters and e-bikes, supporting warehouse and fleet staging operations. Clear communication with teammates and the use of internal tools to meet daily goals will be essential in your role. You will also participate in product testing and new feature rollouts, contributing to the continuous improvement of our services.
