You have a strong background in compliance and regulatory affairs, particularly in the financial services or digital asset sectors. Your experience includes implementing AML/KYC policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, and serving as a liaison with regulatory bodies. You are detail-oriented and possess excellent analytical skills, enabling you to review high-risk transaction monitoring alerts effectively. You understand the importance of confidentiality and documentation in compliance processes, and you are committed to maintaining the integrity of financial operations.

You thrive in a collaborative environment and are comfortable working closely with various stakeholders, including the Principal Officer and other compliance team members. Your communication skills allow you to articulate complex compliance issues clearly and effectively, ensuring that all team members are aligned with regulatory expectations. You are proactive in identifying potential compliance risks and are skilled at developing strategies to mitigate them.

What you'll do

In this role, you will support the Principal Officer in all regulatory and compliance matters related to the Financial Intelligence Unit of India (FIU-IND). You will be responsible for reviewing high-risk transaction monitoring alerts and assisting in identifying suspicious or unusual transaction patterns related to virtual digital assets (VDAs). Your role will involve ensuring that all decisions are well-documented and that evidence is collected for Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs). You will also assist in the preparation and filing of these reports, maintaining confidentiality and compliance with all regulatory requirements.

You will play a key role in developing and maintaining effective AML/KYC policies and procedures, ensuring that BitGo remains compliant with all applicable regulations. Your insights will help shape the compliance framework and enhance the overall effectiveness of the compliance program. You will work onsite at the Bangalore office, collaborating with a talented team dedicated to transforming the financial services industry through innovative digital asset solutions.
