You have extensive experience in engineering leadership, ideally with a focus on digital asset solutions or financial technology. You understand the complexities of managing multiple engineering teams and have a proven track record of driving successful projects from inception to completion. Your leadership style fosters collaboration and innovation, ensuring that your teams are motivated and aligned with the company's strategic goals.
You possess a strong technical background, enabling you to engage with your teams on a deep level. You are familiar with the technologies that underpin digital asset custody and transaction systems, and you can effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Your ability to mentor and develop engineering talent is a key part of your leadership philosophy.
What you'll do
As the Director of Engineering for Wallets at BitGo, you will lead a strategic organization composed of multiple engineering teams and managers. You will be responsible for the success of the Wallets department, overseeing the development of core systems that power BitGo's digital asset custody and transaction capabilities. This includes managing platform access and authorization, notifications, and core transactional infrastructure.
You will work closely with other departments to ensure that the engineering teams are aligned with the overall business objectives. Your role will involve setting clear goals, measuring success, and continuously improving processes to enhance team performance. You will also be responsible for fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration within your teams, encouraging them to explore new technologies and methodologies that can improve the services we provide to our clients.
What we offer
At BitGo, you will be part of a pioneering team that is transforming the digital asset space. We offer a competitive salary range of $260,000 - $320,000 USD, along with equity and an annual performance bonus. Our San Francisco office provides a collaborative environment where you can thrive and make a significant impact on the future of digital finance.
