What you'll do
As the Director of Engineering for Wallets at BitGo, you will lead a strategic organization composed of multiple engineering teams and managers. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the success of the Wallets department, which is critical to BitGo's operations. You will oversee the development and maintenance of core systems that support digital asset custody and transaction capabilities, ensuring they meet the highest standards of security and performance.
You will work closely with product management to align engineering efforts with business objectives, driving the roadmap for wallet features and enhancements. Your role will involve mentoring and developing engineering talent, fostering a collaborative environment where innovation thrives. You will also be responsible for establishing best practices in software development and ensuring that your teams are equipped with the tools and resources they need to succeed.
