BitGo is seeking a Senior Counsel to draft and negotiate contracts related to digital asset solutions. You are a proficient contracts attorney with a strong interest in digital assets and blockchain technology. You possess a creative and practical approach to legal challenges, and you are eager to learn and grow in a dynamic environment. Your inquisitive nature drives you to explore the cutting edge of the digital economy, and you are ready to take on the responsibilities that come with this role.
With experience in drafting and negotiating a wide range of contracts, you are well-versed in prime brokerage, trading, and commercial agreements. You understand the importance of managing legal and regulatory risks in a thoughtful and commercially practicable manner. Your ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams will be essential as you facilitate the building, delivery, and marketing of new products.
What you'll do
In this role, you will draft and negotiate various contracts, including master lending agreements and external client agreements, ensuring that they align with BitGo's business objectives. You will work closely with teams across the organization to support the international expansion of custody, trading, and settlement services. Your expertise will help navigate the complex legal landscape of the digital asset industry, allowing BitGo to maintain its position as a leading infrastructure provider.
You will also be responsible for identifying and managing legal and regulatory risks, providing guidance to the business on compliance matters. Your contributions will play a crucial role in enabling BitGo to securely navigate the digital asset space and support its clients effectively.

BitGo offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary ranging from $220,000 to $250,000, along with equity and an annual performance bonus.
