You have 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist, with a strong background in analytics and data engineering — you've successfully shaped product strategies through data-driven insights and experimentation. Your technical depth in SQL and Python allows you to manipulate and analyze large datasets effectively, and you have a solid understanding of machine learning principles that you apply to real-world problems.

You are familiar with bitcoin, stablecoin, and crypto technologies — your experience in consumer products has given you insights into user behavior and market trends. You possess a proactive mindset and strong product intuition, enabling you to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, and Design.

What you'll do

As a Senior Data Scientist at Block, you will shape product strategy for bitcoin adoption through experimentation, modeling, and analytics. You'll work on critical initiatives such as stablecoin infrastructure and Lightning Network adoption, using data to measure impact and unlock insights that drive product development. Your role will involve defining strategies that enhance user acquisition and engagement, ensuring that bitcoin becomes everyday money across Cash App and Square.

You will collaborate closely with various teams to define metrics and KPIs that align with business objectives. Your insights will guide product development, helping to innovate Bitcoin payment rails and improve user experiences. You will also be responsible for conducting experiments to validate hypotheses and inform decision-making processes.
