Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in operations management, particularly in hardware packaging, and understand the complexities involved in product lifecycle management. Your experience includes collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Industrial Design, Product, and Supply Chain to drive successful outcomes. You are detail-oriented and have a knack for optimizing processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in packaging operations.
You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to liaise effectively with various stakeholders, including engineering and quality assurance teams. Your ability to analyze data and make informed decisions is crucial in ensuring that packaging solutions meet both functional and aesthetic requirements. You are proactive in identifying potential challenges and implementing solutions to mitigate risks in the packaging process.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the Hardware Packaging team, managing the end-to-end lifecycle of packaging programs for new product introductions and sustaining work. You will work closely with Industrial Design and Hardware Engineering to ensure that packaging aligns with product specifications and enhances user experience. Your responsibilities will include developing packaging strategies that meet market demands while adhering to sustainability practices.
You will also be responsible for coordinating with Supply Chain and Quality teams to ensure that packaging materials and processes comply with industry standards. This includes overseeing the testing and validation of packaging solutions to ensure they protect products during transit and meet customer expectations. You will analyze performance metrics to continuously improve packaging processes and reduce costs.
