Who you are
You have a strong background in risk management, with experience in developing and implementing risk frameworks across various functions. You understand the importance of fostering a risk-aware culture and have a proven track record of partnering with stakeholders to enhance risk practices. Your analytical skills are top-notch, allowing you to build and monitor KPIs and KRIs effectively. You are comfortable coaching product teams on 'risk-by-design' practices and can communicate complex risk concepts clearly to diverse audiences. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working cross-functionally with teams such as Engineering and Data Science.
Desirable
Experience in financial services or technology sectors is a plus. Familiarity with automated monitoring solutions and risk assessment methodologies will set you apart. You have a proactive approach to identifying emerging risk trends and can drive executive reporting on risk shifts and indicators.
What you'll do
In this role, you will own the end-to-end risk agenda for your designated function, ensuring that all risk management activities align with the company's strategic objectives. You will partner with various teams, including Product, Engineering, and Compliance, to implement and enhance the Risk Management Framework. Your responsibilities will include building and monitoring KPIs and KRIs to identify emerging risk trends, as well as coaching product teams on best practices for integrating risk considerations into their workflows. You will also drive executive reporting on risk shifts and emerging indicators, serving as a liaison between the business and the second and third lines of defense. Your role will be crucial in fostering a strong risk culture within the organization and ensuring that sound risk practices support business strategies.
