Experience with data visualization tools and familiarity with regulatory frameworks will be advantageous. A background in financial services or technology is a plus, as is the ability to communicate complex data insights to diverse audiences.

What you'll do

As a Staff Data Analyst at Block, you will lead the data strategy for regulatory engagements, overseeing everything from ETL development to source data validation and analysis. You will harness raw data to educate internal and external partners on the impact of new regulations, policies, or environmental changes. Your role will involve connecting regulatory expectations with the Compliance and Product roadmaps to influence strategic decisions. You will develop actionable analytics that tell the story of our Compliance program to regulators and external parties, ensuring that compliance risks are quantified and effectively managed. You will collaborate with various teams across the organization to drive data-driven decision-making and enhance the overall effectiveness of the Compliance function.
