What you'll do

In this role, you will design, build, and evolve Square's Invoices, Appointments, and other Local Services products. You will lead cross-team initiatives, setting the technical direction for projects that impact the entire ecosystem. Your responsibilities will include identifying risks and providing pragmatic solutions to unblock teams, as well as solving complex performance and scalability challenges.

You will balance technical debt, system health, reliability, and security, driving stewardship of technical excellence. Your role will involve mentoring and guiding engineers across the team, modeling strong technical leadership and decision-making. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure that the systems you build are not only functional but also enhance the developer experience.
