You have extensive experience in business development, particularly in consumer-facing Bitcoin or fintech products — your strong network in the crypto ecosystem allows you to identify and close high-impact business opportunities effectively. You are a strategic thinker with a proven ability to drive user acquisition and foster partnerships that support long-term product adoption and revenue growth.
You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with marketing, product, design, and executive teams — your relationship-building skills enable you to forge and manage partnerships with a diverse range of stakeholders, from exchanges to hardware resellers. You are a self-starter who is comfortable navigating the complexities of the Bitcoin industry and are passionate about accelerating the adoption of innovative financial products.
Desirable
Experience in leading strategic growth initiatives in the blockchain or cryptocurrency space is a plus — familiarity with ecosystem integrations and retail distribution channels will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
What you'll do
As the Director of Business Development, you will lead the charge in identifying, negotiating, and closing strategic partnerships that align with Blockstream's consumer product suite — your role will involve driving opportunities for user acquisition and ecosystem integrations across global markets. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure that partnerships support long-term product adoption and revenue growth.
You will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that enhance Blockstream's market presence and drive the adoption of products like the Blockstream Jade hardware wallet and the Blockstream mobile wallet. Your ability to analyze market trends and consumer behavior will be crucial in identifying new business opportunities and optimizing existing partnerships.
You will also play a key role in representing Blockstream at industry events and conferences, showcasing our innovative solutions and building relationships with potential partners. Your insights and expertise will help shape the direction of our consumer products and ensure they meet the needs of our users.
What we offer
Blockstream provides a competitive salary range of $190,000 – $215,000, along with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plans — you will also have access to stock options, allowing you to share in the company's success.
