Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in data science, particularly in finance or related fields — you've developed and implemented predictive models that drive business decisions and enhance operational efficiency. Your expertise in causal inference allows you to analyze complex data sets and derive actionable insights that inform strategic financial planning.
You possess strong analytical skills and are proficient in statistical analysis and data visualization tools — you can communicate complex findings to non-technical stakeholders effectively. Your collaborative spirit enables you to work closely with finance leadership and cross-functional teams, ensuring that data-driven insights are integrated into the decision-making process.
What you'll do
In this role, you will work closely with Finance leadership to develop a robust financial forecasting system using advanced data science techniques. You will analyze key business drivers and trends to enhance forecast precision, providing insights that inform strategic financial decisions. Your work will be integral to improving Brex's operational efficiency and risk management policies.
You will also collaborate with data engineers to ensure the infrastructure supports the data needs of the finance team. By leveraging your expertise in predictive modeling, you will help shape the financial strategies of Brex, contributing to the overall success of the company.
