Your expertise in SQL and Python allows you to manipulate and analyze large datasets effectively, driving insights that influence business decisions. You are skilled in designing and executing A/B tests, understanding the nuances of experimentation to improve user experiences and conversion rates. Your background in machine learning equips you with the tools to develop predictive models that enhance payment systems and reduce churn. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, and Finance to achieve shared goals. You are detail-oriented and possess strong problem-solving skills, enabling you to identify issues and propose data-driven solutions.
What you'll do
As a Data Scientist on the Financial Engineering team, you will own the analytics and experimentation processes that enhance our checkout and payments systems. You will define key metrics that matter to the business, ensuring that your analyses are aligned with company goals. Your role involves building source-of-truth data assets and creating dashboards that provide operational visibility to stakeholders. You will lead the experimentation program for in-house checkout, defining success metrics and executing staged rollouts to optimize user experiences. Additionally, you will monitor risk and latency across various payment methods, ensuring a seamless experience for customers. Your work will directly influence revenue and customer satisfaction, as you collaborate with teams to expand global payment method coverage and improve overall financial infrastructure.
