Overview

Businessolver is hiring a Director of Onboarding to oversee the onboarding experience for clients. You'll provide leadership and project governance while building a team of onboarding experts. This role requires significant industry experience and strong people management skills.

Who you are

You have significant experience in onboarding processes and a deep understanding of client needs — your background in HR or benefits technology equips you to lead teams effectively and ensure a smooth onboarding experience for clients. You excel in project governance and have a proven track record of addressing obstacles to successful delivery in a timely manner.

Your leadership skills shine through in your ability to build and coach a team of onboarding subject matter experts — you understand the importance of strategic staffing and are adept at interviewing and hiring the right talent to support new client onboardings. You are committed to driving quality through auditing and process consistency across projects, ensuring that every client receives exceptional service.

You possess strong communication skills, allowing you to partner effectively with leadership and support escalations or risk mitigation when necessary — your ability to engage with clients in a leadership capacity enhances their onboarding experience and builds trust in the process.

Desirable

Experience in a SaaS environment or with benefits technology is a plus — familiarity with industry standards and best practices will help you navigate the complexities of client onboarding. A background in project management or operations can further enhance your effectiveness in this role.

What you'll do

As the Director of Onboarding, you will be accountable for the overall delivery of the onboarding experience — you will lead your team in creating client programs that maximize benefits program investment and minimize risk exposure. Your role involves providing project governance and oversight, ensuring that your teams are aligned and equipped to address any challenges that arise during the onboarding process.

You will work closely with clients, serving as a first point of contact for escalations and risk mitigation — your leadership presence will be crucial in fostering strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction. You will also collaborate with sales and recruiting teams to support business growth and enhance the onboarding experience.

Your focus on continuous improvement will drive quality across all onboarding projects — you will implement auditing processes and ensure adherence to best practices, ultimately enhancing the overall client experience. You will be responsible for building a culture of excellence within your team, encouraging ongoing development and knowledge sharing.
