You have 5+ years of experience in full stack development, with a strong foundation in both frontend and backend technologies. Your expertise in JavaScript, React, and Node.js allows you to build scalable and efficient applications that enhance user experience. You possess a deep understanding of system design principles and have experience in decomposing monolithic applications into microservices. Your ability to think critically about architecture and scalability challenges makes you a valuable asset to any engineering team. You are also comfortable with tooling and automation, which helps streamline the delivery process and improve overall efficiency.

You are a proactive learner, eager to stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices in software development. You enjoy mentoring junior engineers and sharing your knowledge with the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. You understand the importance of user feedback and data-driven decision-making in shaping product features.

Desirable

What you'll do

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer at Calendly, you will play a key role in designing and supporting the core features of our scheduling platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build new features that enhance user experience and drive product growth. Your responsibilities will include writing clean, maintainable code, conducting code reviews, and ensuring the performance and reliability of our applications.

You will work on decomposing our existing monolithic architecture into microservices, which will help us scale our platform effectively. This involves designing APIs, implementing service-oriented architectures, and optimizing database interactions. You will also be responsible for building tooling and automation to improve our development and deployment processes, ensuring that we can deliver features quickly and efficiently.

In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers, helping them grow their skills and advance their careers. You will participate in team meetings, contribute to project planning, and collaborate with product managers and designers to ensure that our features meet user needs and align with our business goals.
