You have 5+ years of experience in full stack engineering, with a strong focus on building scalable applications and APIs. You are familiar with Elasticsearch and have utilized it to enhance search capabilities in previous projects. Your background includes working with calendar data or similar data structures, giving you a unique perspective on how to optimize user interactions with scheduling data. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions.
What you'll do
As a Senior Full Stack Engineer on the Calendar Platform team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the core calendar data infrastructure that powers Calendly's products. You will focus on building and scaling a unified interface for calendar data, ensuring that it serves as a reliable source of truth for users. Your work will involve developing core calendar data APIs and implementing synchronization services to maintain data integrity across internal systems and external providers like Google and Microsoft.
You will also contribute to the search infrastructure using Elasticsearch, enabling users to easily access relevant calendar data. As new product needs emerge, you will be tasked with creating novel platform services that enhance the overall user experience.
