Who you are
You have a strong background in software development with at least 5 years of experience in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, and C#. You understand the intricacies of API governance and have a passion for improving developer experiences. Your experience includes creating development tools and libraries that enhance productivity and streamline workflows. You are comfortable working in a fully remote environment and thrive in collaborative settings where you can share knowledge and mentor others. You are proactive in identifying areas for improvement and have a track record of implementing effective solutions that benefit developers.
Desirable
Experience with REST APIs and a solid understanding of enterprise-grade software development practices are highly desirable. Familiarity with Camunda's products or similar automation technologies will give you an edge. You are also open to learning new programming languages and frameworks as needed to support the teamβs goals.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be a key member of the Camunda Ex(perience) team, focusing on enhancing the developer experience for users of the Camunda 8 stack. You will govern APIs, including the Orchestration Cluster REST API, ensuring they are user-friendly and well-documented. You will also be responsible for shaping and creating development tools, such as native Camunda clients and test libraries, to facilitate seamless integration and testing for developers. Your work will directly impact how developers interact with our products, making their workflows more efficient and enjoyable.
You will collaborate closely with product engineering teams to gather feedback and insights from developers, using this information to iterate on tools and resources. You will also engage with the developer community, gathering insights and sharing best practices to foster a vibrant ecosystem around Camunda's offerings. Your role will involve creating documentation, tutorials, and other resources that empower developers to leverage our technology effectively.
