What you'll do

As the Senior Manager of Public Policy & Government Affairs, you will lead Careem's efforts to engage with government entities and regulatory bodies across the Middle East. You will develop and implement strategies to advocate for policies that support Careem's mission and business objectives. Your role will involve analyzing regulatory developments and providing insights to the leadership team on potential impacts on the business.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including legal, operations, and product, to ensure that Careem's services can grow sustainably. You will represent Careem in discussions with policymakers, presenting data and insights that highlight the benefits of our platform to the community and economy. Your responsibilities will also include monitoring legislative changes and preparing position papers to articulate Careem's stance on relevant issues.
