Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant discipline such as Law, Political Science, or Public Policy. With over 12 years of experience in public policy, government, or trade associations, you have a deep understanding of policy development and implementation. Your strategic mindset allows you to connect the dots between business priorities and public policy goals, ensuring alignment across teams. You are organized and detail-oriented, with a proven track record of leading immigration and employment policy campaigns. Your ability to dive deep into research and analyze regulatory frameworks is essential for success in this role. You are also willing to travel as needed to fulfill the responsibilities of the position.
What you'll do
As the Senior Manager, Public Policy at Amazon, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's policy strategies. You will serve as a liaison between the Public Policy team and various business partners, facilitating communication and collaboration. Your responsibilities will include creating and implementing a management framework for the policy team, as well as planning and coordinating daily operations.
