Overview

Cartesia is seeking an HR Business Partner to build foundational people programs as the company scales. You'll work closely with leadership to shape the employee experience in a fast-growing AI startup. This role requires strategic thinking and hands-on execution across the employee lifecycle.

Who you are

You are an experienced HR professional with a strong background in building people programs from the ground up. You have a strategic mindset and are comfortable balancing high-level planning with hands-on execution. Your experience in fast-paced environments has equipped you with the skills to adapt quickly and effectively to changing needs. You thrive in collaborative settings and enjoy working closely with leadership to define exceptional people operations. You understand the importance of creating an inclusive and supportive workplace culture that fosters employee engagement and success.

You have a proven track record of developing and implementing HR initiatives that enhance the employee experience. Your expertise includes talent management, performance management, and employee relations. You are skilled at using data to inform decisions and drive improvements in HR processes. You are passionate about supporting employees throughout their lifecycle, from onboarding to career development.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for shaping the HR strategy as Cartesia scales. You will work directly with leadership to define and implement people programs that align with the company's mission and values. Your responsibilities will include developing talent acquisition strategies, enhancing employee engagement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and regulations. You will also play a key role in performance management, helping to establish clear expectations and providing support for employee development.

You will be the trusted advisor to teams across the organization, providing guidance on HR-related matters and fostering a positive workplace culture. Your hands-on approach will involve collaborating with various departments to address employee needs and concerns. You will also be responsible for analyzing HR metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement, ensuring that the company continues to attract and retain top talent.
