What you'll do

In this role, you will architect and evolve Cartesia's database platforms to support a scale of 100x or more while maintaining high standards for uptime, latency, and correctness. You will design data storage architectures that seamlessly operate across various environments, including AWS, GCP, and on-premise infrastructures. Your work will empower engineers and non-engineers alike with easy and secure access to database tools, enhancing productivity across the organization.

You will collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to ensure that the database systems align with the overall goals of the company. Your responsibilities will include implementing data governance policies, optimizing database performance, and ensuring data integrity. You will also be involved in troubleshooting and resolving any database-related issues that arise, ensuring that the systems remain robust and reliable.
