Desirable
While prior experience in automotive prepping is beneficial, it is not mandatory. A willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques in vehicle inspection and preparation is highly valued. You should possess a valid driverβs license and be able to communicate effectively in English, as these are essential for performing your duties successfully.
What you'll do
As a Cosmetic Inspector at Carvana, your primary responsibility will be to identify cosmetic imperfections and repairs on vehicles before and after the reconditioning and paint process. You will work closely with the team to ensure that each vehicle is prepared to meet the company's quality standards. This role may involve additional tasks such as prepping, sanding, and masking vehicles, which are crucial for the cosmetic paintwork process. You will be part of a high-tech Inspection Center, where you will utilize advanced tools and techniques to perform your inspections.
You will also participate in training programs designed to help you develop your skills and advance your career within the company. As you gain experience, you may have the opportunity to take on more responsibilities and potentially move into more advanced roles within the automotive prepping and inspection field. Your contributions will directly impact the quality of vehicles that Carvana delivers to its customers, making your role vital to the company's success.
