Job Description
Who you are
You have a minimum of 6 months of professional automotive prepping or body repair experience — you understand the nuances of vehicle aesthetics and can identify cosmetic imperfections effectively. You are detail-oriented and take pride in ensuring that vehicles meet high standards of quality before they reach customers.
You are a team player who thrives in a collaborative environment — you enjoy working with others to achieve common goals and are willing to assist in various tasks, including prepping vehicles for paint. Your ability to communicate effectively with your team ensures that everyone is aligned and working efficiently.
What you'll do
As a Cosmetic Repair Inspector at Carvana, you will be responsible for identifying cosmetic imperfections on both the exterior and interior of vehicles — your keen eye for detail will help indicate the proper repairs needed during the reconditioning process. You may also assist in prepping vehicles for paint, which includes tasks such as sanding, masking, taping, bagging, unbagging, and buffing.
You will work in one of our high-tech Inspection Centers, utilizing state-of-the-art tools to ensure that every vehicle meets our quality standards. Your role is crucial in delivering an exceptional customer experience by ensuring that vehicles are in top condition before they are sold.

At Carvana, we provide a competitive wage along with amazing perks, including a 401(k) with company match and a vehicle purchase discount. We also offer 100% company-paid healthcare premiums and generous paid time off, including a holiday for your birthday. If you are joining us in an entry-level position, we have training programs to help you develop your skills and advance your pay as you grow with the company.
