Carvana is hiring an Auto Body Prep Technician to perform light bodywork on vehicles. You'll be responsible for prepping, sanding, and buffing, while utilizing state-of-the-art tools. This position requires a minimum of 1 year of professional automotive bodywork experience.

You have at least 1 year of professional automotive bodywork experience and are eager to join a fast-growing company like Carvana. You are skilled in performing light bodywork tasks such as prepping, sanding, and buffing vehicles. Your attention to detail ensures that every vehicle meets high standards before it reaches the customer. You are comfortable working with tools and equipment in a high-tech environment, and you are ready to learn and grow in your role.
What you'll do
As an Auto Body Prep Technician, you will be responsible for prepping vehicles for repair, which includes sanding and buffing surfaces to ensure they are ready for painting. You will also remove and install bumpers, perform minor plastic welding, and carry out small area bodywork, including Bondo repair. Your role is crucial in getting low-mileage, late-model cars ready for customers, and you will work closely with other technicians to ensure quality and efficiency in the repair process. You will have the opportunity to participate in training programs that will help you develop your skills and advance your career at Carvana.
