Who you are
You have a minimum of 6 months of professional automotive prepping experience and are eager to join Carvana, the fastest-growing used automotive retailer in U.S. history. As an entry-level Auto Body Repair Technician, you are ready to learn and grow in a high-tech environment while prepping vehicles for paint. You are a team player who is committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences and can adapt to the needs of the business, including working mandatory overtime when required.
You understand the importance of using state-of-the-art tools and are excited about the opportunity to work in one of Carvana's high-tech Inspection Centers. You are detail-oriented and take pride in your work, ensuring that every vehicle is prepped to the highest standards. You are also open to participating in training programs that will help you develop your skills and advance your career within the company.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for prepping vehicles for paint, which includes tasks such as sanding, masking, taping, bagging, unbagging/tear down, and buffing. You will work closely with your team to ensure that all vehicles meet Carvana's quality standards before they are delivered to customers. Your commitment to teamwork and collaboration will be essential as you contribute to the overall success of the inspection process.
You will also have the opportunity to participate in training programs designed to enhance your skills and knowledge in automotive repair. As you gain experience, you will be encouraged to take on more responsibilities and advance within the company. Your role will be crucial in helping Carvana maintain its reputation for delivering high-quality vehicles to customers.
