Who you are
You have a minimum of 1 year of professional automotive repair experience and are eager to join a fast-growing company in the automotive retail space. As a Brake & Tire Technician, you are comfortable performing light maintenance and repairs, including changing brakes and tires. You possess a strong understanding of basic mechanical repairs for brake pads, calipers, rotors, tire installations, and wheel alignments. You are a team player who is committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences and are willing to work mandatory overtime when needed.
You appreciate the importance of using state-of-the-art tools and technology in your work, and you are excited about the opportunity to grow your skills through training programs offered by Carvana. You are at least 18 years old, possess a valid driverβs license, and can communicate effectively in English.
What you'll do
As a Brake and Tire Auto Technician at Carvana, you will be responsible for performing routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles. Your primary duties will include changing brakes and tires, as well as conducting basic mechanical repairs. You will work in one of our high-tech Inspection Centers, utilizing advanced tools to ensure that vehicles meet safety and quality standards. You will collaborate with other technicians and team members to deliver exceptional service to our customers, ensuring that vehicles are ready for delivery on time.
You will also participate in training programs designed to enhance your skills and knowledge in automotive repair. This role may require you to work overtime during busy periods to meet customer demands. You will be part of a supportive team that values your contributions and encourages your professional growth.
