Overview

Carvana is hiring a Line Lead to manage and develop a team in their Inspection Center in Yaphank, NY. You'll oversee production targets and ensure quality standards are met. This role requires strong leadership skills and experience in team management.

Who you are

You have experience in a supervisory role, ideally in a production or operations environment — you understand the importance of meeting production targets while maintaining quality standards. You are skilled at identifying team strengths and weaknesses, and you know how to engage and motivate your team to achieve their best performance.

You possess strong coaching abilities — you can provide constructive feedback and guidance to your team members, helping them grow and improve in their roles. You are detail-oriented and committed to ensuring that all processes are followed to maintain the highest quality of service.

What you'll do

As the Line Lead at Carvana, you will be responsible for managing the movement of cars into and out of the Inspection Center, ensuring that all operations are conducted safely and efficiently. You will set daily, weekly, and monthly production goals for your team and work closely with them to meet or exceed these targets.

You will oversee the day-to-day activities of your assigned team, providing support and guidance as needed. This includes identifying areas for improvement and implementing appropriate strategies to enhance team performance. You will engage with your team regularly, fostering a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and accountability.

Your role will also involve monitoring inventory production goals and ensuring that all vehicles meet Carvana's rigorous mechanical and cosmetic standards. You will play a key role in maintaining the quality of service that Carvana promises to its customers.
