Who you are
You have a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive bodywork experience, demonstrating your expertise in various bodywork techniques. Your background includes heavy plastic welding, metal pulling, and extensive repairs on multiple panels, showcasing your ability to handle complex tasks in a fast-paced environment. You are a team player who is willing to train and mentor other autobody technicians, contributing to a collaborative work culture. Your attention to detail ensures that every vehicle meets high-quality standards before it reaches the customer. You are adaptable and ready to work mandatory overtime when needed to meet customer demands, reflecting your commitment to delivering exceptional service.
What you'll do
As an Experienced Heavy Body Technician at Carvana, you will be responsible for performing extensive bodywork on various vehicle panels, including heavy plastic welding and metal repairs. You will train and mentor other technicians, sharing your knowledge and skills to enhance the team's overall performance. Your role will involve using state-of-the-art tools in our high-tech Inspection Centers, ensuring that you have the resources needed to deliver quality work. You will also participate in ongoing training programs to further develop your skills and advance your career within the company. Your contributions will directly impact the customer experience, as you help ensure that every vehicle is repaired to the highest standards before delivery.
