You have a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive bodywork experience, demonstrating your expertise in various bodywork techniques. Your background includes heavy plastic welding, metal pulling, and extensive repairs on multiple vehicle panels. You are skilled in using state-of-the-art tools and are committed to delivering high-quality work. You also possess the ability to train and mentor other autobody technicians, fostering a collaborative environment.
You understand the importance of teamwork and are willing to work mandatory overtime based on business needs. Your dedication to customer satisfaction drives you to ensure that vehicles are delivered in excellent condition and on time. You are adaptable and ready to take on challenges in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the success of Carvana.
What you'll do
As an Experienced Heavy Body Technician at Carvana, you will perform extensive bodywork on various vehicle panels, including heavy plastic welding and metal repairs. You will be responsible for training other technicians, sharing your knowledge and skills to enhance the team's capabilities. Your role will involve executing large area bodywork, including Bondo repairs, ensuring that all work meets Carvana's high standards.
You will utilize state-of-the-art tools in one of our high-tech Inspection Centers, contributing to the efficiency and quality of our operations. Your commitment to excellence will help maintain Carvana's reputation as the fastest-growing used automotive retailer in the U.S. You will also participate in training programs designed to help you progress in your skills and pay as the company grows.
