Who you are

You have a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive bodywork experience, demonstrating your expertise in various bodywork techniques. Your skills include heavy plastic welding, metal pulling, straightening, and stud welding, which are essential for performing extensive bodywork on multiple panels. You are also capable of handling large area, heavy bodywork, including Bondo repair, showcasing your proficiency in the field.

As an Experienced Heavy Body Technician, you are not only skilled in your craft but also possess the ability to train and mentor other autobody technicians. Your leadership skills will help foster a collaborative environment where team members can learn and grow together. You understand the importance of delivering exceptional customer experiences and are committed to meeting the needs of the business.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for performing extensive bodywork on various automotive panels, ensuring that each vehicle meets Carvana's high standards. You will utilize state-of-the-art tools in one of our high-tech Inspection Centers, allowing you to work efficiently and effectively. Your expertise will be crucial in training other technicians, helping them develop their skills and improve their performance.

You will also be expected to work mandatory overtime based on business needs, demonstrating your commitment to delivering great vehicles when expected. Your ability to collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive work environment will be essential for success in this role.
