You have a proven track record in operations management, ideally within a manufacturing or inspection environment. Your experience includes overseeing teams and ensuring high-quality standards are met consistently. You possess strong leadership skills and are adept at mentoring and holding team members accountable for their performance. You understand the importance of operational efficiency and are skilled in managing production objectives while maintaining quality. You are passionate about delivering exceptional results and ensuring that every vehicle meets rigorous standards before reaching customers.
What you'll do
As the Operations Manager at Carvana, you will oversee the daily operations of the Inspection Center, ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently. You will lead a team of at least five leads and up to 70 front-line associates, providing mentorship and accountability to drive performance. Your responsibilities will include maintaining a culture of continuous improvement, where you will implement strategies to enhance productivity and quality. You will work closely with your team to meet production goals while ensuring that every vehicle undergoes the Carvana Certified 150-point inspection process. You will be responsible for fostering a positive work environment that encourages high associate engagement and collaboration. Additionally, you will analyze operational metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices to optimize the reconditioning process.
